Hello! Thanks for being here.

I’m Kelly. I’ve been doing a lot of research on seasonal depression to help keep myself mentally and physically healthy during the long winter in Maine. I thought it would be helpful to others to have the information I’ve gathered available in one place.

I write from the point of view of a Summer Goddess. She’s me, but also not me. She’s a more positive and dedicated version of me. I wish I could be positive all of the time. I wish I could act on all of my own advice. But the reality is that winter is challenging for me. Seasonal depression impacts me mentally and physically. Staying on top of it is a constant battle.

Whether you have seasonal affective disorder, the winter blues, or just don’t like the cold and the darkness, I hope that sharing my research and experiences in a fun way will help you find peace and maybe even enjoyment in the winter.
